This Privacy Policy describes how Agentic Press ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Washington, USA, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the AgenticPress platform and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information: Your name, email address, and a hashed (never plain-text) version of your password when you sign up.
Billing information: Your billing contact details and PayPal subscription identifiers. We do not store full payment card numbers — payments are processed by PayPal.
Site credentials: The WordPress site URL and API credentials you provide to connect your site. Credentials are encrypted at rest.
WordPress content: Content from your WordPress site (such as category names and descriptions) that is processed by AI models as part of the Service. This content is transmitted to our AI providers (OpenAI and/or xAI) solely to perform the requested task.
Usage data: Job execution logs, error records, and technical metadata generated when the Service runs tasks on your behalf.
Session data: A browser session cookie used to keep you signed in to the member portal.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account.
Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
Process payments and manage your subscription through PayPal.
Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, billing notifications) via Postmark.
Diagnose and fix technical problems.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Service.

3. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for their own commercial purposes — including advertisers, data brokers, affiliate networks, or marketing companies. Your information is yours.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited information with service providers who help us operate the Service. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only use your information to perform services on our behalf:

PayPal — payment processing and subscription billing.
OpenAI / xAI — AI model processing of your WordPress content to perform requested tasks.
Postmark — transactional email delivery.
DigitalOcean — cloud infrastructure and data hosting.

We do not control the privacy practices of these third-party providers and encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive credentials at rest, hashed password storage, and HTTPS-only access to all Service endpoints. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies

The Service uses a single session cookie to keep you authenticated in the member portal. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
